St Mary Magdalene Church, Medomsley, Consett

St Mary Magdalene Church was recently awarded £2949.30 for a new efficient gas boiler to replace the existing one.  Susan Brown, PCC Secretary on behalf of Medolmsley Parochial Church Council, St Mary Magdalene Church stated that:-

"Medomsley PCC would like to sincerely  thank NHCT and the Trustees for their generous support to St Mary Magdalene Church".

"The new, more efficient boiler is working well and providing  much needed hot water and  heating for our community events and after-Service hospitality. NHCT's financial  contribution has helped our building become a much more comfortable place for our congregation and visitors and supports our ongoing  missional activities".

"We found the whole grant application process straight-forward and easy to complete and really appreciate your help and assistance throughout the whole application process".

The Trustees of NHCT recently awarded All Saints Church, Lobley Hill, Gateshead £5000 towards stonework. The works were completed in August 2023 and this has had a fantastic impact on the church and its community.

Originally constructed in 1927, St Chad's College Chapel is a much-loved building, which sits in the beautiful grounds of the College, in the heart of Durham's World Heritage Site, under the shadow of a great cathedral. They were awarded £5,000 towards the cost of roof repairs which was completed recently.
