Annual Steeplechase
The Trust's primary purpose is to help with the repair of Northumbria's historic churches, and the principal means of doing so is giving grants.
Trustees have recently agreed that this should be supplemented by an advisory service to churches, to help them put together grant applications to other bodies, such as English Heritage. Details of how such a service will work are still being worked on, but at the moment it looks like a first consultation will be free, with a modest charge made for subsequent consultations.
Last, we run events of different types. Some of these are mainly intended to raise money for the Trust but others are arranged principally for educational purposes, although we like them to cover their costs.
